Feats of engineering, made of plastic extrusions. Synthetics are rarely made, and many are older than most memories.
Synthetics are evolutionarily-perfected creatures. They have one desire, and do everything to fulfill it, for the least effort, for the longest time, to the highest degree.
They may know what their function is, or they may do only what comes to mind. Everything a synthetic does, they do to satisfy their function.
Synthetics are emotionless. They have the appearance of emotions to manipulate others, and get what they need out of them. When a synthetic's plans fail, or succeed, they feel nothing. They act to
fulfill their function, nothing more.
